The European Commission has announced that it has extended the antidumping measures on imports of stainless steel hot rolled coils (SSHR) from Indonesia to imports of SSHR from Turkey to protect EU producers of SSHR from unfair competition.
The commission found that imports of SSHR completed in Turkey using processed stainless steel slabs from Indonesia are circumventing the antidumping duty orders on SSHR from Indonesia.
The antidumping duty on imports of the given product stands at 17.3 percent for Indonesia and now also for Turkey.
The products currently fall under HS codes 7219 11, 7219 12, 7219 13, 7219 14, 7219 22, 7219 23, 7219 24, 7220 11, and 7220 12.
