EU initiates AD duty investigation for Chinese HFP rebar

The European Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding high fatigue performance (HFP) rebar imports from China.
 
The investigation has been launched following the application filed by the European Steel Association (EUROFER), alleging that imports of the product under investigation from the country concerned have increased overall in absolute terms and in terms of market share.
 
The products subject to antidumping duty investigation currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7214 20 00, 7228 30 20, 7228 30 41, 7228 30 49, 7228 30 61, 7228 30 69, 7228 30 70 and 7228 30 89.
