DOC extends AD review preliminary results deadline for rebar from Turkey

The Department of Commerce (DOC) has recently announced that it has extended the time limits for a preliminary determination of the anti-dumping duty administrative review on the imports of certain steel concrete reinforcing bars from Turkey as the review involves complicated issues for certain respondents. The DOC initiated an anti-dumping administrative review on the above cited product imported from Turkey on May 27, 2005. The review, which covers the period of April 1, 2004 through March 31, 2005, involves 34 producers/exporters. As there are several respondants, the DOC has announced that it would not be able to disclose the results on their scheduled date. In line with the latest determination of the DOC, the results of the review, which were scheduled to be released not later than December 31, 2005, will be released on May 1, 2006.
