DOC cancels AD review on stainless steel plates from Taiwan
On June 30, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review on
stainless steel
plate in coils from
Taiwan for the period May 1, 2004, through April 30, 2005. The review was initiated upon the request of Allegheny Ludlum Corp, and United Steelworkers of America.
The review covered Chain Chin Industrial Company; Chang Mien Industries Company; Chien Shing
Stainless Company;
China Steel Corporation; East Tack Enterprise Company; Emerdex
Stainless Steel Flat Roll Products Inc.; Emerdex
Stainless Steel Inc.; Emerdex Group, Goang Jau Shing Enterprise Company; PFP
Taiwan Company; Shing Shong Ta Metal Industries Ltd.; Sinkang Industries Ltd.; Ta Chen
Stainless Pipe Company; Tang Eng Iron Works; Yieh Loong Enterprise Company (also known as Chung Hung Steel Company); Yieh Mau Corporation; Yieh
Trading Company; and Yieh United Steel Corporation.
Since the petitioners withdrew their requests for an administrative review, the DOC decided to cancel the investigation regarding the above-cited producers.
