Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that, following a recent order for a 200,000 mt per year tinplate complex, it will also supply two new 450,000 mt per year hot dip galvanizing lines for Indian steelmaker JSW Limited’s Vijayanagar plant.

The new lines will be installed to apply galvanized and galvalume coatings for construction grade products for commercial applications. The vertical annealing furnaces of the lines will be fully equipped with radiant tubes and operated with mixed gases, which guarantee quite competitive gas consumption figures. The first coil is scheduled to be produced by the end of 2018.
