Danieli to supply strip plant to Shougang Jingtang

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will supply a new strip plant to Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel’s (Shougang Jingtang) new facility in Caofeidian Industrial Area in Hebei Province, China.
 
According to Danieli’s statement, the new plant will be designed for consistent production of thin and ultra-thin gauges in endless mode, and can be retracted off-line when not in use. The plant will have a total annual capacity of 2.1 million mt of hot rolled coils with thicknesses of 0.80-12.7 millimeters and in widths of 900-1,600 millimeters.
