Danieli to build 2nd HDG line for MMK

The Russian Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has signed an agreement with Italian company Danieli for the construction of a second HDG line. The line with a total capacity of 450,000 mt per year is planned to begin operations in July 2008. Danieli built MMK's first HDG line with a total capacity of 500,000 mt per year in 2002.
