Commercial Metals appoints new Steel Group CEO

Commercial Metals Company has appointed Russell B. Rinn president and CEO of the CMC Steel Group effective January 26, 2006. Mr. Rinn has been with the company since 1978, serving in various operating and management positions with the company’s steel mills and rebar fabricating business segments. He has served as COO of the CMC Steel Group for the past two years. Current CMC president and CEO Clyde P. Selig will be appointed advisor to the chairman of the company after his term ends January 26, 2006.
