According to the Turkish Ministry of Economy, Colombia decided to implement temporary safeguard measures as a result of its safeguard investigation launched regarding rebar and wire rod imports.
Accordingly, 25.6 percent and 21.96 percent safeguard measures will be applied on rebar and wire rod imports respectively. Colombia will also apply a 21.29 percent safeguard measure on wire rod imports of alloy and non-alloy steel.
The products subject to safeguard measures fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.10, 7214.20, 7213.20, 7213.91, 7213.99 and 7227.90.
