Coal output in Shanxi, China down one percent in Q1

In the January-March period of the current year, the coal output of China's Shanxi Province amounted to 194.41 million mt, down 1.0 percent year on year, as announced by Shanxi Province Coal Industry Bureau. In March alone, the coal output of Shanxi Province totaled 68.76 million mt, down 4.9 percent year on year.

In the January-March period this year, the coke output of Shanxi Province amounted to 20.058 million mt, up 2.6 percent year on year. In March alone, its coke output totaled 7.032 million mt, up 4.4 percent year on year.
