CISA mills' average daily crude steel output up 1.59% in early Feb

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in early February (February 1-10) the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.7847 million mt, up 1.59 percent compared to late January (January 21-31).

According to the CISA's previous figures, in late January the average aggregate daily crude steel output of the large and medium-sized Chinese steel enterprises had totaled 1.7568 million mt, decreasing by 1.26 percent compared to mid-January (January 11-20).

Meanwhile, as of February 10, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 9.5292 million mt, down 12.8 percent compared to January 31.
