The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in mid-December (December 11-20) last year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.7181 million mt, down 1.45 percent compared to early December (December 1-10).
According to the CISA's previous figures, in early December the average aggregate daily crude steel output of the large and medium-sized Chinese steel enterprises had totaled 1.7289 million mt, decreasing by 0.90 percent compared to late November (November 21-30).
Meanwhile, as of December 20, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 12.4051 million mt, up 4.05 percent compared to December 10.
