ChTPZ reports reduced gross profit for first six months

Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant (ChPTZ), a leading Russian producer of welded and seamless steel tubes and pipes for the Russian oil and gas industry, has announced that in the first half of the current year it achieved a gross profit of about Ruble 6.105 billion ($187.2 million), compared to Ruble 10.390 billion ($318.7 million) in the January-June period of 2011.

 Also in the first half of this year, ChTPZ's sales revenues decreased by 10 percent year on year to Ruble 38.9 billion ($1.2 billion).
