Chongqing Steel renews agreement with Sinotrans & CSC Shipbuilding

Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel), a subsidiary of Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., has renewed its strategic cooperation agreement with Sinotrans & CSC Shipbuilding Industry Co., extending cooperation for the 2014-16 period, according to local Chinese media sources. The agreement is expected to benefit Sinotrans & CSC Shipbuilding Industry Co. in terms of steel product supply, shipbuilding quality, shortening shipbuilding periods and improving its competitiveness.
