Chinese interests in annual overseas iron ore supplies equal to 190 million mt

Speaking on September 5, Luo Bingsheng, deputy chairman of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), stated that Chinese companies have interests in annual overseas iron ore supplies equal to a total of 190 million mt, which is equivalent to 30 percent of China's total iron ore import volume. Mr. Luo added that this figure should be increased to 60 percent.
