Chinese ferrous metal and mining firms see H1 profits rise by 61.7 percent

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, in the January-June period of this year Chinese medium and large-scale industrial enterprises achieved an aggregate net profit of RMB 2.4105 trillion ($371 billion), up 28.7 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the aggregate net profit of medium and large-scale ferrous metal and mining enterprises in China in the given period rose by 61.7 percent year on year.
 
In addition, the total revenues of medium and large-scale industrial enterprises in China in the period in question reached RMB 38.8552 trillion ($6.0 trillion), rising by 29.7 percent year on year.
