Chinese coking coal exports surge in January 2005

China's January coking coal exports soared 160% year-on-year, from 561'000 tons in January 2004 to 911'000 tons in January 2005. Exports to Japan alone reached 210'000 tons, up 134.8% from 121'000 tons year-on-year.
