Chinese Batou Iron & Steel to supply 2008 Olympic Games

Chinese producer Baotou Iron & Steel Company is reported to have won the bid to be the first steel supplier for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. 1'230 tons of seamless pipes have been delivered to the stadium construction projects, ahead of the scheduled delivery date. This business has provided Batou Iron & Steel Company a high reputation and many other business contacts as the supply and services were highly appreciated by the receivers. Baotou Iron & Steel Co., Beijing company has announced sales of 120'000 tons with turnover of RMB 350 million, by the end of May 2003.
