Chinese Anshan mill scheduled maintenance

Chinese steel mill Anshan management had decided to put its hot rolled plate rolling line through a major maintenance process for three months starting from March 2003 until June 2003, SteelOrbis is reported. According to market sources, the maintenance project will cause a production loss of approximately 90'000 mts of heavy plates and 50'000 mts of medium plates during the stoppage period of the line.
