China's PPI remains stable in June

In June this year, China's producer price index (PPI) remained stable year on year and was down 0.3 percent month on month, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on July 10. Meanwhile, in June Chinese industrial producers' purchase prices were down 0.3 percent year on year and declined by 0.1 percent compared to May.

In June of the current year, the PPI for capital goods decreased by 0.3 percent year on year. Specifically, in June the PPI for the domestic raw material industry was down 2.1 percent, while the index for the processing industry remained stable, both year on year.
