Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xuanhua Iron and Steel Co. (Xuanhua Steel), a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel Group), has announced that it is implementing 25-day maintenance works as of April 4 at its wire rod production line.
The maintenance will result in a total shortfall of 50,000 mt in wire rod production.
