China’s rebar output decreases by 3.6 percent in January-April

In April this year, China's outputs of rebar and steel bars amounted to 17.256 million mt and 6.451 million mt, down 1.7 percent and 1.6 percent year on year, respectively, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-April period of the current year, China's rebar and steel bar outputs totaled 64.834 million mt and 24.202 million mt, decreasing by 3.6 percent and 4.2 percent year on year, respectively.
