After regressing in the previous two months, activity in China's non-manufacturing industry rebounded to some extent in July. According to China's Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, in July the purchasing managers index (PMI) of Chinese non-manufacturing sector rose to 59.6 points, up 2.6 points month on month.

In April this year, the PMI of the Chinese domestic non-manufacturing sector reached 62.5. In both the following months of May and June, the index declined, though remaining above 50. The recovery of the index in July indicates the strong trend of the sector, federation vice director Cai Jin stated.
