China’s iron ore imports up 13.4 percent in January-November

In the January-November period of the current year, China imported 845.77 million mt of iron ore, up 13.4 percent year on year, according to data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. In November this year, China imported 67.40 million mt of iron ore, down 13.3 percent year on year, while declining by 15.10 percent month on month, with the average import price at $79.67/mt, down 37.92 percent year on year and decreasing by 3.70 percent month on month.
