China's iron ore imports decrease by 5.5 percent in January-April

In the January-April period this year, China’s iron ore imports amounted to 388.36 million mt, down 5.5 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

In April alone, China’s iron ore imports totaled 103.138 million mt, up 1.3 percent year on year, while increasing by 9.8 percent month on month.
