China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.6 percent to RMB 90.0309 trillion ($13.14 trillion) in 2018, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). This growth rate is the slowest recorded by China’s economy since 1990.
In 2018, China’s domestic primary, secondary and tertiary industries contributed RMB 6.4734 trillion ($0.95 trillion), RMB 36.6001 trillion ($5.34 trillion) and RMB 46.9575 trillion ($6.86 trillion) to the country’s GDP, rising by 3.5 percent, 5.8 percent and 7.6 percent on year-on-year basis, respectively.
