China's finished steel exports see further drop in Oct.

According to the preliminary data, China's finished steel exports in October totaled 4.2 million mt, down 240,000 mt month on month.

Looking back over recent months, China's monthly finished steel exports figures have shown a steady decreasing tendency: 6.36 million mt for June, 5.94 million mt for July, 5.38 million mt for August and 4.44 million mt for September. Meanwhile, semi-finished steel exports in October totaled 160,000 mt, down 190,000 mt compared with September.

The official data for October will be soon be released by Chinese customs.
