In October this year, China’s excavator sales amounted to 13,300 units, down 35 percent year on year, as announced by China-based Construction Machinery and Equipment (CME).

In particular, in October, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market amounted to 6,500 units, down 43 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets totaled 6,800 units, down 25 percent year on year.

The demand for excavators from downstream users has been slack, resulting in the year-on-year decline in excavator sales in the given month.
