In September this year, China’s excavator sales amounted to 14,283 units, down 32.6 percent year on year, as announced by China-based Construction Machinery and Equipment (CME).
In particular, in September, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market amounted to 6,263 units, down 40.5 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets totaled 8,020 units, down 24.8 percent year on year.
In the January-September period this year, China’s excavator sales amounted to 148,812 units, down 25.7 percent year on year. In particular, in the first nine months this year, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market came to 68,075 units, down 43.3 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets totaled 80,737 units, up 0.54 percent year on year.
