According to the latest figures, China's average daily output of crude steel in early December, amounted to 1.646 million mt, decreasing by 1.5 percent compared with the late November levels. The minor slide in the daily output of crude steel is mainly resulted from the slack demand of end-users. However, the early December figure is much higher compared to the average daily level of 1.55 million mt for the January-November period.

China's crude steel production in the first eleven months this year amounted to 518 million mt, up 12.1 percent year on year.
