China’s coal imports decrease by 5.3 percent in January-April

In the January-April period this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 152.671 million mt, declining by 5.3 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In April alone, China’s coal imports totaled 37.825 million mt, down 16.4 percent year on year, while declining by 2.3 percent month on month.
