China’s coal exports down 47 percent in January-October

In October this year, China exported 483,000 mt of coal, increasing by 300.0 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities. In the same month, China imported 23.079 million mt of coal, increasing by 8.45 percent year on year.

In the January-October of the current year, China exported 3.935 million mt of coal, down 40.7 percent year on year, while its coal imports totaled 252.04 million mt, up 11.5 percent year on year.
