China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales down 15.3 percent in Q1

Major Chinese coal mining company China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd has announced that its coal sales amounted to 99.3 million mt in the January-March period this year, down 15.3 percent year on year. In the given period, China Shenhua Energy produced 82.5 million mt of coal, down 1.1 percent year on year.

In March this year, China Shenhua Energy sold 34.6 million mt of coal, down 13.5 percent year on year, while it produced 29.4 million mt of coal, up 1.7 percent year on year.
