Chengdu Steel & Vanadium achieves its cast billet output target for 2011

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that in the current year up to December 18 its Sichuan-based subsidiary Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co.'s cast billet output totaled 2.617 million mt, already reaching the targeted output volume for the whole of the current year.
 
Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co.'s cast billets are produced by its billet caster No. 1, billet caster No. 2 and its square and round billet caster No. 3.
