According to Hebei Province-based Chinese steel company Hebei Iron and Steel Group (Hebei Steel), in the first quarter of the current year its subsidiary Chengde Iron and Steel Company (Chengde Steel) exported 120 mt of ferrovanadium worth a total of $3.28 million, with the export volume rising by three times from the corresponding period of 2010.
Chengde Steel mainly exports ferrovanadium to Japan and South Korea.
