CERI to build blast furnaces for Laoting steel project of HBIS

Chinese state-owned Capital Engineering and Research Incorporation Limited (CERI), a subsidiary of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), has won the tender to build blast furnaces for the Laoting steel project of Chinese steel giant Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS), as announced by MCC.

The project includes the construction of three 3,000 cubic meter blast furnaces, with an overall annual output capacity of 7.32 million mt of molten iron.
