West Perth, Australia-based copper and gold mining company Centaurus Metals Ltd. announced Wednesday that it has declared a 77 million mt resource for its Jambreiro, Brazil iron-ore project, which could become the main foundation of its domestic iron-ore production business in the near future.

The Jambreiro's Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) recently increased Centaurus' JORC-compliant resource inventory to Brazil to approximately 131.6 million mt, to assist Centaurus in its chief focus of drilling out the ore body, and the new resource to a specifically indicated status.
