Carlo Tassara increases stake in Arcelor

Industrial holding company Carlo Tassara International reportedly increased its stake in Luxembourg-based Arcelor to 7.4 percent from 4.5 percent last declared by Tassara on May 2, 2006. Thus, Tassara has become the largest shareholder in Arcelor, ahead of the state of Luxembourg, which owns a 5.6 percent stake in the company.
