According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 4,627,333 mt of iron ore concentrates in June, up 21.8 percent from May but down 9.2 percent from June 2020.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 2,188,740 mt of iron ore concentrates in June, down 19.7 percent from May and down 46.9 percent from June 2020.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 6,656,433 mt in June, compared to 5,064,295 mt in May and 6,771,803 mt in June 2020.
