Cag Celik to complete expansion by Q4 2009

The Turkish steelmaker Cag Celik will complete its capacity expansion project in the fourth quarter of 2009.

The scope of the project includes the installation of a new rolling mill for the production of merchant bars and light sections. The new mill, which is currently being constructed at Cag Celik's production facility at Karabuk in northwestern Turkey, will have an annual production capacity of 180,000 mt upon completion.
