CAAM: China’s passenger vehicle output down 16.8 percent in Jan-Feb

In February this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 1.14 million units and 1.219 million units, down 42.9 percent and 39.7 percent month on month, while decreasing by 20.8 percent and 17.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the January-February period of the current year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China totaled 3.137 million units and 3.243 million units, down 16.8 percent and 17.5 percent year on year, respectively.
