In the January-April period this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 8.3886 million units and 8.3533 million units, down 11.0 percent and 12.1 percent year on year, respectively, with these declines 1.2 percentage points and 0.8 percentage points greater than those recorded in the January-March period this year.
