BSSL takes legal action against Metco and Lucky Metals

Indian steel producer Bhusan Steel & Strips Ltd (BSSL) has announced that it will take legal action against Mumbai-based Metco Marketing and Lucky Metals of UAE on the grounds that the subject companies supplied heavy metal scrap containing explosives and the action caused a blast at BSSL's factory in Ghaziabad on September 30, 2004. The company also decided to stop import of heavy metal scrap to avoid future such incidents.
