Brazil’s flat steel exports down 56 percent in March

According to the statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, in March this year Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 90,288 metric tons, falling by 55.9 percent year on year and down 24.2 percent from February.

The revenue generated by these exports in March this year totaled $90.9 million, down 49.7 percent from the March 2011 level and down 19.4 percent month on month.
