Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 31.3 million mt in July this year, increasing 3.5 compared to the same month of 2016, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore exports in July totaled $1.17 billion in value, increasing 18.2 percent year on year.
In July, Brazil's export volume of semi-finished products of iron and steel amounted to 694,569 mt, up by 35.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while these exports were valued at $302.08 million, increasing by 60.1 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in July Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 207,920 metric tons, up by 6.1 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports totaled $118.88 million, growing by 12.8 percent from the July 2016 level.
