Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 31.44 million mt in November of the current year, up by 12.3 percent compared to the same month of 2015, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore export value in November totaled $1.23 billion, increasing 36.9 percent year on year.
In November, Brazil's export volume of semi-finished products of iron and steel amounted to 737,668 mt, up by 51.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while these exports were valued at $251.69 million, increasing by 86.9 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in November Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 240,457 metric tons, down by 25.4 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports totaled $129.6 million, dropping by 5.8 percent from the November 2015 level.
