Brazilian flat steel exports down 15.5% in Sept from Aug

According to the preliminary statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, in September this year Brazil's flat rolled steel exports totaled 169,500 metric tons, decreasing 15.5 percent compared to the previous month and up 50.7 percent year on year.

The revenue generated by these exports in September this year totaled $136.8 million, falling by 18 percent month on month and up 14.8 percent over the September 2011 level.
