Chongqing-based Chinese ferroalloy producer Bosai Group has inked an agreement with the local government of Fuling district in Chongqing municipality, according to which Bosai Group will build the second phase of its ferroalloy project with an annual capacity of 600,000 mt.
In June 2017, Bosai Group has put its first-phase ferroalloy project into operation, with an annual capacity of 500,000 mt. The second phase project will have a total investment of RMB 2.5 billion ($0.36 billion), will realize annual sales revenues of RMB 5.0 billion ($0.71 billion), and is expected to be put into operation in one-and-a-half years. Bosai Group’s ferroalloy capacity will then amount to 1.1 million mt, ranking first in China and in the world.
