Turkey-based steel pipe producer Borusan Mannesmann Boru has announced its financial results for the first half of the current year. In the first half, Borusan Mannesmann's sales revenues increased by 6.66 percent to TRY 36.88 million ($12.8 million).
In the first six months of this year, premium quality product sales of the company increased by 14.6 percent to 345,000 mt compared to the same period of 2014, while the sales of value-added products including pressurized, special and spiral products accounted for 45 percent of total sales. In the same period, the company’s premium quality product export volume increased by 28 percent year on year.
Borusan Mannesmann stated that its steel pipe sales volume to the automotive industry in the first half of this year reached its highest-ever level, with satisfactory profitability.
