BHP Steel Lysaght foresees growth in Thailand

BHP Steel Lysaght, the Thai operations of Australian steel maker BHP Steel announced that it foresees a 40% growth of its business this year, with the support of its new product range to enable the company compete in the conventional concrete building market. The company reaffirmed its commitment to continued investment in Thai local operations with the opening of a significant extension to the company's Khon Kaen roll-forming factory. The extension of the factory will double the production capacity and will cost Baht 13 million (approx. $312'000) BHP Steel Lysaght Thailand is a producer of the widely known Lysaght range of steel roofing and building solutions, and was founded in Thailand in 1996, supplying Thai construction industry with a wide range of high quality steel roofing and building products.
